A New Best for the Probe (and me)!
Went down to Orangeburg, SC for test n tune yesterday and the weather was great for the cars. Unfortunately not many cars running so I was somewhat concerned with the track about mid track and on. The track was really good on the line, the track temp was 89/90 and the air was in the low 60’s. With a good shot of juice the 514 ran a 4.94 and 142 mph. Might get a little greedy next week and bump it up and go for a high 4.80. I can’t wait for my new Kaase 598 next month.

That's pretty zippy for a 514. How much is a "good shot"?

Re: A New Best for the Probe (and me)!
Good deal! Did anyone do like they did with mine one time? I had removed the hood after a pass and had gone to trailer to get a wrench to tighten headers. When i started back to the car a man was standing in front of the Mustang looking at engine with arms folded, shaking his head back and forth. I got to the car, he was still shaking his head, I thought maybe he has a palsy or something, so I asked,"Something wrong?" He never looked up at me, he just said,"Yeah, damn Ford aint supposed to run like that!" He walked off and said nothing else. Never saw him before or since.

Maverick the first system was 250 and the second system was a 125 shot. Maybe that's not a lot for some but a lot for me.
