yea i got my quote too in about that range.
he said he picked up about 45 hp on the chasis dyno.
he also expects to shave about 2 tenths off with the new setup because it doesnt lag or stumble anymore.
his previous carb was a prosystem as well

Nice. I like the idea of these carbs. If I wasn't going efi I'd try one.
Who did his tranny? What "approximate" times does he run?

Re: Got to drive an SV1 equiped car today......
I told him to drop by the site and sign up when he gets a chance
he did warn me though that he does drop his AOD every year and a half and freshens the clutches up.

Re: Got to drive an SV1 equiped car today......
lol famous?
yea theres updates on the car, he hasnt had alot of time to work out his traction issues since he added the SV1
on his best pass it averaged a tenth faster with spinning through the first 60 ft or so.
He thinks that his peak torque didnt go up alot more at peak maybe 20-30 tq but his area under the curve is much better apparrently
If i get off in time saturday ill drop in on em and call him for extra details.

Heard the SV1 picked up 15 hp over a Pro Systems carb on a 598 at Kaases dyno. Heard only good things from the Kaase group.

Another idea, I'll volunteer to trade in my old Pro Systems 4150 for a SV1 and do the street/strip testing of the new carb and report on the improvement!
I'd be more than happy for Patrick to use any of my quotes on his website! Patrick claims that it's a great street carb, I've got the perfect car to do his testing on.

Would be awesome to have 1 or 2 samples at the bash people can throw on for testing!
Feet, definitely do a write up on what you learn about the SV1.

Re: Got to drive an SV1 equiped car today......
Im considering running the SV1 on my Cleveland stroker and running it head to head against a 4 barrel carb, should provide some good feedback on streetability. Its hard as hell to keep a small block streetable at even 550 hp.
