O/T 94 Sable HVAC Problems

Hey folks,

Still plugging away on our daughter's DD. Got the brakes all lined up, body work done, front springs going in soon.

One thing I am scratching my head on is the HVAC controls on this car. It will only work on HI fan speed and only in DEF. I guess this is a default to keep windshield clean. The car does come up to temperature quickly and there is still no other settings working.

Any thoughts??

It is a 1994 Mercury Sable ES with the 3.8, AC, etc, etc, etc. (this things loaded!)

Hoping to get a safety inspection next week so she can get driving it (then I don't have to cart her butt around anymore!!).

It is the automatic climate control system. Sounds like a cool set up if it worked!!
