513 VS 547 CID
Almost all things being equal, same heads( ported Aluminum SCJ), cam (260/268 @ 0.50,0.726/0.726 inch Lift 108 Degrees Lobe Seperation), Rods( 6.8 Inch Forged), & compression (12.5-13:1) how would a Tunnel Rammed 513 (+.060 over + 4.14 forged crank ,twin 850 E-85 carbs) stack up against a 547 (+.040 over+4.50 forged crank, single 1250 E-85 carb)
Usage Street/Strip & Show, 15-60 miles round trip, Fox Body Mustang 3150-3320 lb weight, 30X13.5X15 or 31X18.5X15 M/T or Hoosier "Cheater slicks", 4.33 geared 9 inch Ford, C-4 tranny, 2900-3400 stall convertor.

Re: 513 VS 547 CID
Ha. That cam looks to be the specs of my comp cam grind. It works decent in my 545cid. Its probably not ideal for my p-51's but it makes strong torque and at elevation that was what I was after.
A pal runs the same grind in a 557cid with worked SCJ's in a basic, tubbed '69 Mach to 10.60's @ 127mph with 1.46 60's foot braking at our 5400' elev track. NHRA correction is about -.7 sec.
