Not a good weekend here.....

Man, yesterday morning @ around 1:00AM 5 teenagers driving a mid-90's model chevy pickup crashed killing all 5 kids. The oldest was 18 & the youngest was 16. 2 of them were brother and sister, and one of the boys graduated from my son's school last year. It appeared that the authorities found drug paraphernalia, and alcohol in the truck though. None of them were wearing seatbelts when they missed a turn, and ran head on into a dirt cliff at about 70+ mph, according to the Highway Patrol. It's sad that these things have to happen, but unfortunately they do. I'm glad it was none of my 2 kids, but feel terrible for the parents. Especially of the brother & sister.

That's a bad deal. I feel bad for the families too.

We bring them up the best we can, tell them not to ride with someone drinking etc, etc, but sometimes kids do stupid things. Very sad....

That IS a bad deal Doug,seems it happens way too much.

Sucks to hear, hopefully the other kids in town are smart enough to learn from the tragety and don't do it.

Seems like you think you'll live forever untill you're 25 then logic kicks in.
