carberator jeting question Empty carberator jeting question

Pulled my plugs & they are very gray in color, so I decided to pull carb apart & see what jets are in there. The front jets are 83 & rear jets are 80, that seems backwards to me. The carb is a 830 dp & still has the power valves in it, should I remove them & plug them or leave it alone? It is a full time track car.

some do and some dont Rolling Eyes if it's a track only deal i'd pull them IMO.they work well for street cars where your not at WOT but for the track you are so try it'you may like it.you'll need to go up a few jet sizes if you pull them too.good luck Smile
