93 F-250 302 to 460

I have a chance to get a 93 F-250 with a 302, 5 speed teanny. Engine is toast but body is in real good shape. I have a 77 F-250 with a 460 that the body is toast but engine and tranny are good. What I was wondering is will the mounts from the 77 work or would I have to get different mounts. I am just hoping to get really luck with this, hoping alot of the stuff will just swap over. I know there will be a lot of little things that need to be dealt with. Both trucks are two wheel drive if that matters. Appreciate any info that would help.

Also if these mounts will not work does anyone know where would be a good place to get some.

The mounts are not the same for the '70s to the '90s. I think the mounts you need are the ones from the '80s F250 (3 piece per side). Not sure how far into the newer trucks it goes. Some one will correct me if I am wrong. I as well as others here have some for the '80s 460 2 wheel drive.

Get with Jones on here. He's been putting a BBF in his 93 or so pickup. You can learn from his mistakes, so to say...

The perches on the frame are different. They are rivoted in and can be switched out. The older mounts are different than the newer but will probably work. They have one stud and the newer ones have two studs sticking out.

I switched my 351w, F-150 to a Big-Block several years ago.
