Log book information
How much information do you guys log? This was brought up on another post on this board so i thought that i would pose that to everyone.
We track 39 pieces of data each run plus notes. This does not include the data files that we save every run from the AMS-1000 and the FAST XFI.
We race at or will race at 12 tracks from west Texas to east Texas and from Baytown/Houston to Tulsa so keeping good records is important to us.

Re: Log book information
The program that I use is from a bracket racer that I modified for our needs. We keep track of all car and weather conditions. We use a Kestrel 4250 weather station.
We kept a lot of info when we were slow too. I bracket raced my Maverick for years in Super Pro and it made dialing in a lot easier. With a low horsepower engine in a light car on the foot brake the weather makes a huge difference.

Are you talking about the FAST computer? It will only log what is happening with the car. We add that to our file later. Tire pressure, fuel pressure, weather conditions, light conditions, shock settings, which tires, ARB settings, weights, ballast, elevation, etc....
we have the driver arm the logger. you just have to cycle the logger after the burnout.

Very nice ^^^^ Here is a copy of ours. You can't see all of it but this gives you a good idea of all the data we record. Later in the year I will chart weather data using Kestrel computer interface but I just have not got around to getting it yet.

I have three free versions of a log book file on my website. Feel free to download all you want. Just scroll down the homepage a bit and you will see them.

That would have saved me a lot of time if I would have known before.
