Don't know what the procedures are that they used. This rearend is manufactured by a company in the USA. And the next one we are going to make by ourself for sure....
Here is a report from our website with a lot of pictures.

Jesse,
This week we are going to try to get it straight again without cutting any tubes, will see that will work or not. Engines also didn't survive it after being for 1 full second hitting the rev limiter @ 9000 rpm's.
Have 2 engines with chevy rod bearings (bryant forged cranks) and 3 engines with the Chrysler rod bearings (Crower billet cranks). The engines with the billet cranks are still fine but the ones with the chevy rod journal smashed a couple of bearings out and made the bore in the rod oval for about 0.045 to 0.050.

Sorry to hear that!
What started first, the axle breaking or the bouncing caused the axle to break?

The Little bit I can see on the pics looks like a very bad weld, you need to look into how they welded them, what proceedures, Rod Material, Pre/Post heat treating and Non-distructive Testing they performed. I'm thinking you where screwed by someone not knowing how to weld that type of stuff and not propery checing their work. To sum it up "Good Welds Do Not break"

Very nice progress Frank!
It gives you some idea of how much force was involved when you try and un-bend the tubing!!
Do all the clutches engage at the same RPM or are they staggered?
