spark plug??
What are you guys running for around a 250 shot? Whats a better plug the NGK or Autolite? Im running an autolite AR3932 right now. I have herd NGK is a better plug and its a lot easier to read..

Re: spark plug??
that seems a bit warm, NGK is what the nitrous guys use as it is easier to read.............burns the cadium off etc.

AR3932 is a cold plug. Phillip is running AR3933 [one step hotter] in his T/D deal.....works good.
Re: spark plug??
my bad, I thought they were hotter than they were.
We need a "sticky" with a NGK and Autolite chart on it lol.

Re: spark plug??
I actually like the autolites better than the NGK, but Im sure at some point its preference. 3932 is definitely a cold plug and should be on the safe side.
Re: spark plug??
i would run the NGK R5671A-10 for a starting point ...they will tell you if your tune is off a lot faster then the ar3932 ...both are great plugs but i would run the NGK

Re: spark plug??
I think it is personal preference. We are tried and true NGK guys and when we ran nitrous we had better luck with the autolites. we actually thought they were easier to read than the NGK's. we ran AR3933 when we ran 200-250 shot. I would say that the AR3932 or the NGK R5671A-10 would be your best bet though. the NGK stock number for the R5671A-10 plugs is actually 5820 when you go to buy them if you choose those. if you are buying a large quantity then go to sparkplugs.com. the more you order, the cheaper they will be.

Re: spark plug??
Lem, I have had good luck with both. I run NGK's now because a guy bought a case of them and broke a crank during the first TNT of the year and has already called it a year. He dropped them off at my pit the next outing. I guess that means that we have a total of 1 sponsor. Does that mean I am big time?? lol

Re: spark plug??
Yep they both work. I hear so much about how a guy needs to run NGK if they spray.....it reminds me of the alky guys saying you had to use geen oilwhatbumper wrote:Lem, I have had good luck with both. Re: spark plug??
The AR plug is the better plug Lem ..... but i was told that he NGK had the "weaker" ground strap so that if you were are the jagged edge of your tune it would show up quicker or better on the NGK ...thats all
for the record i use AR
for the record i use AR

Some like to use the long skinny ngk strap as a fuse......kill a cyl before it burns a piston...so they say.

I think I lost my oil sponsor, he moved up North and they already had too many dealers..............guess I'll have to pay for oil now, I think I have 3 or 4 oil changes left under the bench though.........
