Cam sync dist

I cannot find any diam. on the distributors from MSD. Question is, can a Ford 351 W cam syn dist (MSD 2362) be used in a 460/514 with just replacing the gear?

351 w/c fit the 429/460 (Yes) but have to use a 429/460 distributor gear or a 351 c distributor gear, the 351 w gears is smaller...

351 W and 351 C 429/ 460 distributors are the same....
the 351 distributor uses a small gear in a 351 W same gear the 289/302 use, to use it in a 351 C or 429 / 460 you have to use a 351 C or 429 / 460 distributor gear..... is that better?

the i/d on the 351w gear is bigger than a 289/302. but that's not the issue here.
