10.5 heads up Event
wow is all i have to say , i would like to thank Phillip Oakley and everyone else that was involved putting on the event also a hugh thanks to Probe Industries for putting up the purse.
we were the #1 qualifer thru the event and had to really drive the car .... we turned on the 2nd kit for the finals and it was a wild ride , everyone that ran the class needs to be commended , track conditions were not favorable for all the power we were trying to lay down.....
Doug Rahn , David Lynch, Gowie, and im so sorry i forgot the other 2 guys but we had some great races !!!
and myself and Gowie had a grudge match set-up today ..... and it was a peddle fest ..10.5 racing at its best ...the crowd loved it
another great event put on by Phillip and Lem ... you guys are awesome .....
you guys cant miss this next one , because this weekend was a blast
and i cant forget to thank Steve Johnson for the great Nos setup .... its a whole different car ..... gonna have to learn how to tune this suspension

WTG Nick, backing up the smack is what it's all about. You put in some hard work and hard earned cash to get that car where it is. Now to the important part, did you tell Dan-O that because he didn't cash a big check this year, you get his crown.

Dang, you mean I helped you win the thing. I should have my azz kick. Just kidding! I'm glad you won Nick We knew going in to this we didn't stand a chance with the problems I'm having, but we want to support the event, and hopefully they'll do it again next year.
Re: 10.5 heads up Event
It was so awesome to see Nick win that Big Check!!! He's worked his tail off to get to where he is with this car..130MPH in the 1/8 on a true 10.5 ..unreal. My car was skating like crazy on a big tire ,my hat's off to ya Bro Glad I had a hand in this deal , "You made me Proud"

Nick, Everyone I talked to were pullin for ya, Congrats Man.you deserve it. You caught alot of flack from the Bash no shows all year long, but you proved them you were worthy of the task. But, I dought they will admit it. Nick, you are a cool guy,and one hell of a good driver. That thing is a hand full.

You are absolutley right -- it is pretty lame ........... but you should ask those other guys what they had for engines
the first kit was a 73 jet with 12 degrees being pulled and i couldnt get down the track and it ran a best of a 5.61 @ 127.xx and for shits and giggles i turned on the second kit and i ran the same et but 130 with the smallest jets possible , turning on the kit 2 seconds into the run ... i will get here figured out ........ just need more track time ..trust me i was dissapointed to in the numbers i ran ...but ole well ....I WON !!!!!

From what I understand this was basically your first time out on the combo, I'd say you have nothing to apologize for Nick. Get the chassis sorted out so you can throw some power at it and look out! 130mph with that et tellscme you are making good power, just got to get it to hook.

Re: 10.5 heads up Event
If ya didn't see the runs, ya don't know how busy he was for five and a half seconds. Pedal parties don't always work out as well. Hey, Nick.....I know a few guys down here in LA who are gettin' their small tires down some crappy tracks. We'll hit a couple of those tracks and sort that thing out.....quietly. Give me a call and we'll plan a little trip to a place where personal best records fall every week.
