Bash was a Blast!

Just made the 5 hour drive back to Mid MO. Had a great time at the bash. The weather turned out great. Thanks to everyone involved in making this thing happen. We had a great time and we'll be back again next year. Hopefully we'll bring a few more cars next time. We had some carnage here a few weeks before so some of the people that were coming had to bail. Congrats to Wes Litrel for winning Pro. That thing is crazy. There was a whole lot of horsepower crammed into that little track this weekend. I've never seen so many big block Fords in one place before. Now I'm encouraged to make my junk faster because all of those KY cars flat out haul.

We had a great time. It just went by too fast. I really wanted to get around a socialize a little more Friday night but we were beat from the long drive that morning. We were pretty busy with two cars. I'm glad we decided to leave Dad's at home. Three would have been too much. I can't wait until next year. Everyone was so friendly down there. It was like one big block Ford family.

Agreed, Love your car, very clean. Enjoyed chatting with you Friday. Bash was great fun! I made 17 passes Friday and Saturday and had planned to go to Beech Bend Sunday before I decided I had enough for one weekend!

Thanks. I enjoyed talking with you too. You must have went quite a few rounds with 17 passes. I counted my time slips and between the gamblers race, pro class and time trials I made 13 runs. I had a blast and can't wait until next year. Gateway has a Muscle Car Reunion race this weekend. They have a box class. You should bring that car down.

Since this was my first bash I don't have anything to compare but I'd have to agree. I felt a little bad that you redlit against me because I had a horrible light that round. (I got over it pretty quick though ). Thanks for all the effort you guys put in for this thing. It was a lot of fun.

Thanks for all of your help removing the broken alternator before the 10.5 semi's. If it weren't for you and your friends seeing that it was broke; I would have been thinking that it somehow happened when the driveshaft made it's departure! It was great talking to you, hope to see you next year.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. My only regret was that I didn't make it around to talk to more people. It seemed like Friday and Saturday went by really fast. I guess next year we'll have to come down Thursday. I enjoyed talking with everyone that I did meet. Everyone was really nice around there. I love the family atmosphere of a track like Windy Hollow. It reminds me of Mid America Raceway where we used to run before it closed.
