It is a great site here. Now we must represent it with pride. Just keep in mind the reason we jumped ship over here. I for one can't stand all the new topics. Since the new corporation has took over. But, everyone has a different reason. guess what I am trying to say is. When people see all the bickering it might do us more harm then good. There by preventing the growth of this new home. Guys, it's time to step up and take the high road. Let Bruno nix Chilly's post, and then let it go.

Heck, I have invited friends to come over here and assured them that the behavior over here was acceptable, and some of this is going to make them wonder.....

I agree 100% greg, a new guys checks this out before signing up and sees all the fighting he will just pass it on by and never think twice

If I may opine:
I'm one of those guys that Greg invited over. I'm also a mod on the forum from which I was invited. In my experience, judicious thread locking and occasional thread deletion (usually when the OP agrees) are an absolute necessity to maintaining a positive forum atmosphere. If you allow the rancor to present itself you're likely to get deep divisions between two or more groups and once that occurs the informational value of the forum is significantly diminished.

When the personal attacks and unbridgable topics come up, lock them. I'm not saying make things taboo. Transparency is important and threads questioning why something was locked should be answered honestly.
