Wes ,your new truck is off the hook Brother!! I'd love to finish that thing up with paint and stain ,and some of my "hand lettering" and pinstriping. You've got a great mind to come up with that and build it. WAY COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great talking to you too. Take care my friend

So, Wes....Are we to understand that the Lumber Wagon won't return next year to defend the title? I thought I overheard you talking about your next project.....a blown front engine dragster made of popsicle sticks??

Wes,
Congrats on the win and you're creation was by far the most popular subject of the weekend. Like I told you "You just HAVE to be different..."
Oh and next time don't be dropping .005's on me in the quarterfinals

Re: Great time at the bash.
Every year I go to spectate, try to stay in the background and just "take it all in".
Watching the road upon Wes' arival the question between me and Freelander was "who the hell is that"?
We should have known as thoughts of a truck pulling two trailers came to mind while watching the new creation enter the track. Then we discovered who was behind the wheel of that tow vehicle.
GREAT ... just GREAT !!!

Congrats Wes! That sure was one cool ride you made, and I was telling my Dad all about it last night. Thanks for answering all my questions on it. I was like a kid in a candy shop.

Remeniscing thoughts of the BASH, (and past BASH's), are only applicable to those who are/were actually there to see it. Those times just can't be described well enough for anyone else to appreciate...!

Thanks again for all the kind words. As I said before,It's more like a family reunion than just a race.Maybe I can shingle and vinyl side it over the winter.Brick up a flue for the exhaust or something .I was just happy it went down the track. Wes Littrell

I met Wes and his family in the Super 8 Lobby Saturday morning. I tried to introduce myself to everyone I saw but Friday proved to be to hectic around the truck. You had quite a gathering. Glad to meet you.

Congrats
Congrats Wes. That thing really hauls the lumber! I was kind of hoping we could stay separated one more round so we could have had an all Missouri final. Maybe next year. Better get some Thompson's Water Seal on that thing its going to rain a lot this week. Bring it to Gateway this weekend.

Great job Wes,,For those who couldn't get to the bash,I looked over his truck pretty close and he built the whole thing from scratch,it's not a kit,I could tell that he spent a lot of time and it took a lot of skill to build something like that, and it's fast too! You deserved the win Wes,,,

Nice truck Wes
That truck was very cool Wes. I made a time run with you before I knew it was you and was very surprised. And by the way, like I told George this weekend, the back of your truck looks pretty god too.
Congrats on the win.

Wes, congrats on your win. Not only are you a 2-time Bash winner and a great guy, but you have created one of the coolest drag cars I have ever seen! My son is telling everybody he sees about the "Plywood Piranha" That splintered the competition.
