Race Results
Okay guys,
This Memorial Day weekend, here's what some of our Fords are doing.
1. Lem and I were on the phone with Gary Heber and he and J.J. Heber are qualified #4 at Brainerd International's NHRA Div V race in Top Sportsman with their 2006 Mustang running a 6.944 @ 199.02 mph. They are running Thor heads on that engine. Hope they win
2. Earlier today, our local Ford powered dragsters were qualified #1= Kristina Lawyer, #2= Phillip Oakley, #3= Bobby Small,,,,,,, at Beech Bend in the NHRA SportsNationals Open and the Jeg's Quick 32 race. There were 50 cars trying to get into the program. Larry Conolty and Craig Sullivan are also there with their Fords also, so we have five Ford powered dragsters in the field. Eliminations began at 5:00, so let's keep our fingers crossed that they are go far.

First congrats to the Lawyer family on the #1 qualifier. Congrats to Phillip and Bobby for rounding out the top three. Quite an honor to have a hand in all thier programs I would say Charlie and Lem.

Re: Race Results
Update again. Guys, we have two of our local Fords in the finals of the Jeg's Quick 32 race at Beech Bend. Kristina Lawyer and Bobby Small. They are good friends, and will probably split the money, they did last year in the semi-finals of the Ford Bash. Lem and I are proud of both of them

Re: Race Results
Hell, about 95% of the parts in both of those engines came from bfevansraceparts.com Philip's and Conolty's too.

Re: Race Results
Okay guys, Bobby Small is the winner and Kristina Lawyer is the runner-up, she broke out by .005". Kristina was also low qualifier (4.507 e.t.) and gets some extra bonus money from that I think, or Jeg's gift certificates. They are all going up for some pictures now.
For those that might want to know the engine combos, Phillip and Kristina use TFS A-460 heads and 2 X 4 tunnel rams. Larry Conolty uses the FRPP C-460 heads and 2 X 4 TFS A-460 intake manifold. Bobby Small uses the Pro-Filer 205 heads and the FRPP C-460 single intake with a set of my spacers. Craig Sullivan uses the Thor heads and a sheet metal tunnel ram.
We're proud of those guys and gal that represented us Ford lovers very well.
Uncle Charlie
Remember that Bobby was low qualifer last week at the Ford Bash and three 4.490's in a row.

Congratulations!
Congrats everybody! Sounds like that Evans power is pretty potent. Hopefully I bought enough parts from Lem to win the Muscle Car Reunion at Gateway tomorrow .
