this is what info i can tell you about my motor

GUESS its hp

600 cubes
c-460 heads and intake with very little work done to them
coated -inverted 11:1 compression diamond pistons
4.5 scat crank by adney brown
6.800 scat rods with l-19 upgrade
street friendly roller - specs later
t&d shaft rockers
isky red zone eazy rollers
holley hp 1250 dominator -converted to e-85
moroso vaccum pump

this motor was build for 100 % reliabilty - im not looking for any killer numbers from it- this will be a 100 5 street motor ,with the intensions on putting a big fat fogger on it some day-

i built this combo because i wanted to enjoy my car for the first time ever- ive been through 3 rebuilds being this is the 3rd and im done-for a while

Jay Allen cams ain't gonna get close to that 700hp. Razz Unported C's, low C/R, and a street friendly roller, 700 should be about right. Cool

THIS IS A 100 % STREET FRIENDLY MOTOR - I DIDNT WANT THE HEADS PORTED -i want something i can start and drive -

wanted to sell the heads and intake and build a cj motor or edelbrock style motor but couldnt sell heads-so im sticking with what i got Smile-IVE ALWAYS GOT THE HEADS TO STEP UP ONE DAY IF I WANT

Ported or un-ported if you can only make 700 hspr out of a 600 cid C headed big block Ford you need to go apply at horsepower tv because they need you. I would throw up and die if that is all my motor made. BTW, I am not being negative towards you I just think it should make more than you are expecting.

At least it'll be economical to drive ...I'm guessing 18+ MPG in the city and 23 MPG Highway Razz cheers lol! king

ive got a street car that runs 5.70 with out any power adder and can drive it any where i want with my bullet proff th-400 -that cost me less than $ 1000 new bullet almost done Dohnew bullet almost done Ownedd

take them c-6 trans and enjoy the new bullet almost done Explosion

X1000 on that. On any race car there is no such thing as bulet proof, because when the power goes up the bullets get bigger and harder to dodge. I remember a few discussions about how much power can be used on "the street", and it isn't the HP that gets you, its the TQ. Be carefull Gerry, we don't want to hear that you had to be scraped off of a lightpole or picked up off of the pavement with a spatula. What I'm trying to say is don't try to be a hero and wind up 6' low. Cool

well thanks - one thing is i dont street race -did that when i was 20 ish now 40 ish im good

and i know nothing is bullet proff- but like my th-400 way better then a crappy c-6

A C6 prepped properly will be better than any th400, it's all about who does the work. I had a buddy with a good running sbc that would tear up th400's, and they were done right. I have tossed a C6 behind my engine too, but learning more about how to put them together every day, and the last one is still going strong. Cool Frank Merkl is running a C6 behind his engine, and that thing is way bad and the tranny is still going strong too last I heard. Cool
