F100 or merc?
I'm getting to the point where it's time to decide what to do with my 545. I have a 1965 f100 and I have a 1965 mercury 2 door sedan. The header options seem to be better for the f100. Both vehicles are manual trans but the merc will require conversion to a hydraulic clutch for header clearance.
What do you folks think
545 4 speed 65 f100 or
545 4 speed 65 merc sedan.
The runner up will be used as a daily driver

I have always loved the F100's, it would be cool to see one with a Ford in it. So many of them have the SBC POS in them.

Mine's on the Merc., too. Should be able to use headers and such for a Galaxie. A very big plus would be not having to deal with the twin I beams.
Re: F100 or merc?
I like both, but my vote is for the merc....

Definitely the F100. I never cared for a lot of the merc cars. Now if you had a 65 Merc pickup that we totally kick ass.

Hard choice......
If you do the truck you could do something like this guy's pic (looks Photoshopped but maybe not) it needs bigger rear tires though.
But the big Merc's are cool too. I don't remember what cars were used on the old Hawaii Five-O TV show, but the old Merc's kinda remind me of them.

The f100, but I am f100 biased. It would be cool to see a merc. daily driver.

now I don't really know. They would both be cool but now I like the merc. I thought it looked different than that but I think that one would be sweet all built up.
