getting correct carb size 1150-1250
521 A-heads, 800" roller, shift around 7400-7500, 3000lbs has a 5400 convertor little tight, looking to get a new carb running a hp1150 now.
I was thinking a 1250 would work better but dont know...also wanting to go with a quick fuel? Whats the advantages for one or the other? Thanks

I think the 1150 would be the way to go...
I know a guy using a 1250 on his 521 but he had to jet it up so he could get the fuel flow thru the boosters his 521 is jetted the same as my 557 so he can get more fuel with the lighter signal the 521 pulls.....
