I Have Proved
Fat people will indeed melt in Al. heat and humidity. My car trailor some how got a litlle leak in it and ruined the inside wall on on side. by the time I finished replacing it on Sat. there was nothing left but my eyeballs.

Man, I'm glad we don't have any of that humidity up here in Montana. When I was in Korea in the mid-80's, it would get so humid that you could walk outside in the middle of the day, and it would look like it foggy outside. Many times during those hot summer days, the military put restrictions on going outside, except to go to the dining hall. Boy, I sure don't miss those days.

Was the Army still using the "wet bulb" then?

It was 99 here in Naples, Fl yesterday. The nice thing is the humidity is quite low compared to Lafayette.

MM,
The whole crew of us outlaws live about 45 min. north of the Butler Fairgrounds. If you know the area, we are from Hadley, PA. This is a fairly active Truck and Tractor pulling area.
We refer to it as "the land that time forgot". A big night for us is to fill up the tractor with high test and speed to the Twin Kiss for a big cone. We live in a Country Time Lemonade commercial. During the last election we voted in Andy Taylor for Sheriff.
If you ever get in our area, let me know. I'll introduce you to a magic cooler. Life is good.
Thanks,
Gordon

One time at band camp........uuhhh
I mean Parris Island, we got black flagged, and they took us into the barracks (which were hotter than outside) and made us do pushups till we couldn't keep our hands from slipping out from under us in the puddle of sweat. I was in 3rd Battalion I (Injury) Company.
