Yeah ive met Blake a couple of times and watched him race once, he's smart as hell on fords which is something in short supply around here. If your not running a 5.0 or a 2300 pony car people around here get confused for the most part.

Re: new guy from shelbyville,tn
2000 v6 mustang gonna try to shove a 460 in her. Wanting to keep my a/c and keep it streetable. I have .40 over 460 w/ flatops freshly built looking for a home. It has stock dove heads that have just been worked, i am thinkin about pullin them off and signing up for the mad porters website and tryin my hand at some port work. Also i am not sure how far the pistons are down in the hole either, cause i didnt have the motor built, just bought it that way.

Re: new guy from shelbyville,tn
Thats going to be alot of compression for pump gas. Doves + Flat Tops = 11.5:1+
You don't need the mad porter you have a Blake "The Snake" in your town, start hanging out with him, you'll learn more in person than you will over the internet. Spend the money on lunch for Blake, He Likes Mexican at Alfonso's..... Hint Hint.

Re: new guy from shelbyville,tn
yeah that may be a touch much, cause it will be my daily driver....guess a set of pistons may be in order
it will definetly have to run on pump gas. I just hate to tear down a new engine, but oh well got to pay to play i reckon
