and may spray it with 150 hp. The engine has 10.2 compression and I am using 110 octane this weekend instead of my normal 92 octane. As this engine normally runs excellent on 92. Question I am planning on taking 6 or 7 degree's timing out. Does this sound about right? I am low ten's right now and would like to run 10 flat and am planning on engaging the spray in high gear. I run a C-4 so need to keep it together for the race. Rolling Eyes Any help would be appreciated. Shocked

If I remember correctly the old "safe" NOS tune said 2* retard for every 50 hp of nitrous.

Squared jetting(use the cards recommendation for the nitrous jet and match the fuel jet), 6 psi fuel flowing to start(will be a touch rich), 26-28 degrees timing. That should be pretty close. With the 110 in the car the window will be slightly larger.

a cheater plate squared is way to fat the newer nos tunes are better but nowhere close to optimal, i would recomend at least a 10 jet spread lower on the fuel side than the nos suggested jetting. flowing fuel pressure should be set at about 5-5.5 i would start at 5.5 and go from there pull 10 degrees on first pass then read plugs and add back in as needed. The plugs should have a very very light fuel ring at the bottom of the plug and timing mark should be next to the outside edge of the plug. you can bring the timing into about half way of the plug i usually like mine about 1/8 inch from tip side not bend side this should be close. I have ran this plate on SBF and BBF motors. just my results good luck
