We used to use them for fishing bait. You can find them under rocks in the creeks and rivers down here. We used a sain (spl) to catch them, pond perch, and crawfish to bait trott lines with.

Eat a one inch long crawfish, when I can trade it for a 10 lb Bluecat.............
I like the mud bugs , but Blue or Channel cat fillets, frys and hushpuppys are hard to beat too................
