Need info on Race pump

If anyone has any info on Holley Dominator pump 99R9740 i would appreciate the help.Checked Holley site to no avail

And another ? what will happen if fuel cell vent is plugged,how will it effect fuel delivery?

Never used one of those, the 250 Mallory pumps are awesome.

OK is this a black Pump 500 GPH that has 2 Screened inlet on one side and a return fitting on the other and then one outlet to the carb. I had one of those. I tried putting filters in the feed lines and ended up starving the pump for fuel and it wore the Anodizing off the inside of the pump. Ended up not being able to get the 500 GPH pumps no more and I had to settle for a 250 GPH pump instead.

Yes there's screen on the inlets.
If your fuel cell isn't vented it will starve the pump of fuel. Like trying to drink from a plastic bottle without leaving in air what happens...... it collapses.

nope........black pumps with pulleys and gilmer belts do though................
