IT'S ON! 1st Annual Capital City Classic "Gambler Race" Sept. 4-5 2010.........

Well guys, it's on!!! I'm putting on the 1st Annual, Capital City Classic "Gambler Race" right here in Helena, Montana.
Here's a rundown of the event:

Event dates: Saturday & Sunday, September 4-5, 2010.

Event Schedule: Saturday will be T&T, & kind of a run what'cha brung deal for the local street car guys. PLUS! I'm working on an afternoon shootout for the 2 local high schools. Each school will will compete against the other, with the pot going to the winning school's auto shop program. STUDENTS ONLY, NO TEACHERS!!


Sunday: Time Trials & Eliminations for the racers only. There will be NO street racing on Sunday! The race will be run in a Gambler format. You run who is beside you, and it will be handicapped according to your dial-in.
There is a total (proposed) payout purse of $4000.00. (This purse will be guaranteed "IF" we get 80 cars)

Here is the layout:

1st place: $2000.00

Runner-up: $800.00

Semi's: $300.00

5th-10th place: $100.00


Entry Fees are as follows:

T&T & Street car for Sat: $30.00

High School Shootout for Sat. : $15.00/car.

Gambler Race: $50.00/car

Spectator fees: $7.00/person.

Gates will open at 7:00 A.M. & Racing is "slated" to start not later than 10:00 A.M. both days.

Those in this region and beyond, if you can make it, come on out. I hope to make this one of, if not the biggest of such events in this region.
