New build hp numbers?
.030 460 trw flatops zero deck block scat h beam rods eagle crank 3.85 stoke. tfs street heads. c460 cam 244-254 lift 595-621 victor intake with 1050 quick fuel carb msd ignition the limiting factor on hp is 1 7/8 primary tube to keep the power steering. Just wondering how close to the old crate motor on hp and tq, will it run on pump 93 octane gas? I know the headers can rob 25+HP
Thanks,
Steve

Don't buy an Eagle Crank in stock stroke....... the Factory is much better crank and will handle a Butt load of power.....

Re: New build hp numbers?
if you havent purchased the parts, get a SCAT stroker kit from Adney at Performance Crankshaft. Much more bang for the $$$. 4.300 stroke is nice and it will boost your torque a whole bunch.
The Flat tops with the heads and cam you are looking at will make more compression than is safe on 93 pumps gas (you'll be in the 12:1 range). I'd suggest the stroker kit with a dished piston and keep it in the 10-10.5 range for a street performance driver.
at 521" with the out of the box TFS Streets 600-650hp should be pretty easy. You'll be pretty similar to the Ford Crate Motors.

I will add to what Randy said................ (Don't buy any stroke cast Eagle crank) If you are going to make any kind of hp.

Parts
Cam is a hyd crate motor from Lem. I already had all the parts bought, balanced and built I think before Blake had problems with the eagle crank in his motor. Motor has a Scotty J soild lifter cam already, was looking to detune with the hyd cam and be a little more conservite on the crank. Understand on upping the octane.

That C460 cam will exhibit about the same manners without as much power.
