getting ready for the dyno
I am going to a dyno here real soon to perfect my motor. I have decided on a chaiss dyno because pulling the motor is a real pain due to partial tear down. T/R and 2 1/8 are b!tch with factory k member. I have seen 34 to 36 degrees total is the norm and uncle charlie said 13 degrees initial was a good starting point. How fast should my timing come in to full? I have a 4,000 stall and had guess full timing at that rpm should be good. I am not locking it out due to street crusing. Do I seem to be on the right path here?

Good deal. It all depends on your combo. Mine made the best power with good overall somewhat safe air/fuel readings across the board with 33* total timing. But I am also on a locked out dizzy with iron heads.
