We are going to be doing an A460 604CID build when the money comes around. What should I be watching for? The good the bad the ugly. Look for all kinds of input on 604 setups.
Thanks

Would certainly like too. Tossing around the idea of running E85 or E98 if I can find E98

So why would one need 18 head bolts?

I wanna make 1200 plus and I didn't think that the P51's would work all that well. The other thing I was looking at were my guy Dave's Blue Thunder heads

To Make 1200 hp on Pump gas you better be blown, turbo, or Power adder, i dont think it can be done with A460 heads and Pump GAS, Maybe some Blue Thunder Thor heads and 640 cubic inches or more and even then it better be someone that knows what they are doing matching heads, cam, and total package together.

If i am wrong someone please give me some information on a combo that has made this kind of power on pump gas/e85 or e98 with no power adder.

Which Blue Thunder heads? CJ style or Thors? What kind of power adder are you planning on running? What is the application? Beer & chicken boat for poker runs, dragster, truck pulling, Fox body Mustang or what? Is the budget going to be big enough to afford $2000 for titanium valves, and $2500 for a dry sump? In other words, you have to define the parameters for us.
