Harmonic Balancer Recomendation
Before I can fab up my accessory mounts (alt, p/s, a/c, and belt driven fuel pump), I need to buy my crankshaft and harmonic balancer. The ATI and Ford harmonic balancers seem to be favored in this community.
My 547 will be high hp (~1,200 - 1,400 hp), but not high RPM (< 7k). Do you guys think the Ford Motorsports M-6316-A521 damper is a good option for my engine? I have seen Lem advertise the Innovators West Dampners. Is that a better option for my engine combo?
If you need additional information to better advise me, just ask.
Have a good day!
Michael
Edit: Also, do the Ford and Innovative dampers use BBC or BBF pulleys?

Re: Harmonic Balancer Recomendation
I have an ATI on my motor right now and I'm totaly happy with it.
I've seen alot of the Innovators dampers being used and as far as I can tell the appear to be working well.
IMO I don't think you could go wrong with either one.
