Re: whats cooking ??
bbq potatoes? must have more info and pics.
here is what is going down tonight...
Baked Beef Back Ribs
For starters, the dry rub needs to be assembled. To make enough for four or five racks, you'll need:
INGREDIENTS - Beef Rib Dry Rub
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup granulated onion (onion powder)
1/4 cup paprika
3 tablespoons fine grain salt (canning salt or pickling salt)
2 tablespoons black pepper
1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
1 teaspoon, more or less, of cayenne pepper
Mix 'em all up real good! Store in an airtight container between uses.
Now for the ribs. Season both sides of each slab (however many you're baking) with about 2 tablespoons of the rub per side. Place a raised rack in a large baking pan, and place the ribs on the rack, bony side down.
The beef ribs go into the oven to bake at 250 degrees for 2-1/2 to 3 hours, or until tender. After the first hour, baste the ribs every 15 minutes with a simple mopping sauce, made of 1 cup water, 1/4 cup vegetable oil, and 1 tablespoon of your beef rib dry rub.
If you like your beef ribs saucy, brush them with a coat of your favorite bbq sauce (that would be Famous Daves this evening )15 minutes before removing them from the oven.

Just got finished eating some grilled burgers, hot dogs, smoked sausage, green onion sausage and some jalepenos that have been halved, gutted and stuffed with hot sausage and cream cheese then wrapped in bacon... Need I say more?
Oh yeah, me and my brother killed an 18 pack of beer too! Life is good...
