A good friend of mine came across a nice old 56 truck....he is wanting to make a driver/parts chaser out of this deal.
He is wanting to make this thing as old school as possible....even talked about putting a Nail-Head motor in it.

I tried to bring him around to a big block but, he seemed dead-set on a 390. He is hoping to find a complete engine.

Thanks,
Jeff

There are a couple out here in Montana for pretty cheap. LMK if he'd be interested in one out here. Or is he looking not to ship one? If he's interested, I'll check and see if they're still there, 'cause the guy had/has them both for $300.00.

A 390 technically is a big block so he is not far off. Very Happy Just not a 385 big block

Thanks for the replys guys....I finally got a chance to talk to the guy that is looking for one (conflicting schedules)....He said that buying the truck put a dent in "fun stuff" budget so, it will probably be a month or two before he is ready to pull the trigger on one.
I'm still trying to talk him into a 460.... Very Happy
Thanks,
Jeff
