New Guy from Maryland
My name is Matt Jewell. I have been registered here for a while, but haven't posted before. I am preparing to pull the 514 out of my Capri and do some updated, so thought it would be a good idea to interact with fellow racers and pass on/ exhange any info that applies. Thanks for hosting this site. P.S.- If my brother is lurking on here, get back to putting your cars together.

Thanks, guys. It's a base model '80 Capri that is technically for my son (he's 12 now). Diamond in the rough for sure, but wanted to play with BBF/Fox chassis. Made alot of passes at Mason Dixon with the MSRA the last 2 plus years.

Good to hear, get them in to it early. Got my truck just before I turned 14. The good thing is that you know where his money will be going, into that car. My truck has shaped me into a good person, without it I would be the kind of kid most of you hate...I think. But I am paying for a lot of stuff, I haven't bought anything unrelated to my truck since I got it. Kept me from making bad investments since I am doing a ground up build. Good to hear another youngster is getting in to muscle cars.
