Gout

Seems like I have it, anyone else here have it before? What helped get rid of it. I'm eating lots of Ibuprofen and Vitamin C and drinking coffee, and avoiding $1 double cheeseburgers for lunch. I hear coffee can help.
I guess maybe my hip pain may have been the start of it, I dunno. I DO know I'm gonna miss beer for the next month or two!

YEP ALL THE TIME ....... drink tons of water , 4-6 banannas and a bottle of "pure " black cherry juice and it will go away in 24 hrs

Side effects are wanting to scratch places in public you know you shouldn't, Swing from Trees, and pee 100 times more than usual..... and constipation comes with in 36 hours.....from eating that many Banana's

LOL!! The shoe idea was not a good one, this certainly is testing my tolerance for pain, which I thought was pretty high.
Looks like I'm gonna be one of those goofballs walkin through he store in socks and slippers.

When did that become acceptable? I see these pajama wearing idiots everywhere. I think the worst was the guy I saw wearing one of those Snuggy blankets like a coat.

I use to get the gout a lot, and the worst attack was in my knee two years ago. Since then, I have been taking black cherry supplements from GNC. I started off taking two capsules a day, and now I'm down to one for the past year. I haven't stopped eating shellfish, drinking beer, fatty meats, and everything that brings this biotch on. It's like a magic pill. Here's the goods.

While we are on the same topic, I have this pain in my ass...................you laugh but I'm actually being serious.........its in my right cheek, runs up into my back and down my leg. If I'm sitting down its not bad, but if I stand or walk a bit its pretty bad. I've had pulled muscles before and this aint it, feels like a raw nerve or something.

Don't get better soon I may need to get it looked at. Getting older sucks.............

Did the bananas, found a black cherry drink, but not pure juice, we'll see what tomorrow brings,

i have had gout for sevral years nothing i have tried other than pharmacy meds works for me.my doctor gives me indomethacin with out this medication i think i would be disabled or out of work alot.i dont take the meds all the time just when i feel it coming on one script of 90 pills will do me for about 1 year.the gout seems to get you when you have alot of things that need to be done,i dont wish this stuff on anyone.the cycle for me is about 3 days before i can get around verry well.

Gout's a bitch............ If I feel it coming on I can eat cherries or drink cherry juice and stop it.

I guess pain wise it rates right up their with kidney stones and getting smacked in the sack (for three or four days)...............

You can usually count on you Buds to take pictures of you in misery, (and laugh at your azz) to make sure you remember how bad it felt.

Thank God Lem called his buddy Hugh, he had some pills Lem brought me for gout that knocked it out in about 4-5 hr.s That was one long race weekend..............

Does your boyfriend have groin pain I feel old! My knees crack every time I get up, my back will hurt, I hope it doesn't get worse. But it probably will.
