Just for general reference I live on an Island. The Ferry cost for me to go racing pretty much anywhere runs about 240 bucks each way. So once a year they shut down one of our small airstrips and set up a Drag Strip. If you typed in Thunder in the Alberni Valley you would see some stuff on that. The one and only time each year when I can haul to the track and be home for dinner Sunday nite.

We have run there every year for the last 9 or 10 years, we won it once and runner-upped another time.

This year we ended up being First round runner ups when I lost traction big time right off the starting line. Sad

First run on Saturday tho was a personal best. Very Happy

8.244 @ 164.7 with a 1.171 60. Car weighs in at 2610 with me in it. cheers cheers

Running 580 inches with EX514's done by Charlie and a Lem spec'd cam with a single 1250 QFT dom N/A. cheers

Dean,
Cograts on the new best time.
Did the front coilovers fix your 60' problem that was found at the seminar class?

Hey Ric thanks. As far as the 60's go when running super gas I have found some things that seem to have helped. I did install new hypercoils in the front as well as converting the struts to double adjustable. Definitely notice less bounce when the front end lands now. Also made some changes to the shift timer settings and lowered my dead stall. seems to be working a lot better. Still not the "all my runs are within .005 in the sixty" bs I hear from some of the local HeRo's but much better than last year.
