Im needing a car picked up in Dartmouth,MA 02747 and brought to Georgetown Tx 78628 and to take my car back to MA. Anyone out there want to make some extra cash or know anyone that does..?? I could also meet a couple hrs. away aswell depending on how much cheaper it would make it.... Let me know. Thanks

I shipped one car and had a nightmare of a time. The key to success is that your starting and ending destinations need to be very popular locations. What happens with every car shipping company is they post it on the net and every car hauler truck driver can look and bid on your car haul. If you have popular start/stop locations I am sure it would be quite easy to get a car hauler in a reasonable amount of time. I had a car shipped from Wisconsin to Louisiana after Katrina and it took me 6 weeks because no one was going to anywhere close to Louisiana then. They will all tell you 1 week but good luck with that BS.

I used this guy to transport my Mustang from Illinois to Georgia. He is a nice guy and can be found on the Jalopy Journal website where he has a lot of satisfied customers. The following is his ad from there.

Their are a whole lot of decent auto transport company's out their. They will pick-up and drop off anywhere or you can save some money and drop off / pick-up at depots.

I'm guessing Texas to Mass..... About $1000 Each way with a company. Dedicated Hauler will be more if you want covered or single car loads.
