2011 mustang

Has anyone heard anything good or bad about the 2011 mustang v-6? Machanical issues?

I heard they are really Fast for a V6. But,I've never heard a V6 that sound's good.

There is an addition to the 2010 model that had a more powerful v8 in it than the regular one, I think. But anyways, the 2011 v6 has pretty much the same power as the 2010's v8. You can smoke 'em, my uncle is leasing one, didn't you hear about the 1,000 lap challenge? Very impressive. That v6 has some power and you can get up on the revs as well, very very cool car with all its features.

Guy here in town has one. BADASS!!!! I drove it and it drives better than my 1993 Mustang street car. I think he is getting over 25mpg all around driving.

I know of a guy in McKinney that will be putting twins on one within a month or so. He already has a drag suspension under it with Bogart wheels. He also has bought a bunch of CM tubing from Wolfe so I am guessing he is going to install lots of bars. He used to run Buick v6's in the ole GN vs Mustang stuff in the 90's.

I'm just wondering cause I'm debating a v-6 as a daily driver, 6 speed ofcourse

It's all good !!!!!...........so far.

Barring any massive recall, or either one of those new 2011 engines (or trans) having reliability issues, those Mustangs will be a smash hit for Ford !!

The 2011 Mustang GT is only the second new car in my lifetime that I have ever seriously considered buying new. (The other was the 1987 Buick Grand National)

BTW: The 2011 V-6 Mustang is by far the greatest bargain out there for performance, mileage, and handling. (less than 23K)

You won't have any problem there with either of the 2011's ! For the first time in Ford history, they have a Hot Rod V-6 worthy of respect.

I have been watching closely at both 2011 models and I am amazed at how easy it is to get a 2011 GT into the 12's !

This is truly a great time to be a Ford fan !

I've seen reports of chipped up v-6 models running 12.8. That's hauling for a v-6!!!
