Entertainingthe thought of another "Bastard" combo. But aint they ALL Bastards when you get down to it in the end.
Did some math. Came up with a 3.95 stroke,(.100 offset) 7.00 rod(Mopar journal), and my pistons, 1.35 CH. That comes out to 10.325 deck. I know thats pushing it deck-wise. I have D1 & D3 blocks. I dont think the later block would be a isssue down low, since its a short stroke. Plus, I'd fill it anyway since it would be .080 over.
I think it would be a rapping phuk plus the 7" rod would be a plus.
What do ya think??

"Production" B.B. Mopar rods have 1.094" pin ends; (unless it's a hemi at 1.031").
Most bushing providers have pin end bushings for those on their shelf.
440 rods are 6.760" long and Hemi's are 6.850" long.
