We've lost a brother,,, Greg Gowin

Guys,

We've lost Greg Gowin this morning. He passed away as a result of a motorcyle accident and a head injury. Please keep him, his wife Nicci, and the family in your prayers.

Many of you had the pleasure of meeting Greg & Nicci at the Winter Tech Seminars or the Ford Bash. He had the red '64 Thunderbolt and also the red Mustang if my memory is correct. They are from Dawson, IL just east of Springfield. As I get more info, I'll keep you posted.

He is definitely one of our "Band of Brothers", and will be dearly missed. It is never our place to judge when The Good Lord calls one of his sheep home.

Sad to hear, I never got the chance to meat him but I can tell by what people have said that he was a good person. Rest in peace, you will be missed.

Greg was a great guy and will be dearly missed.My prayers and best wishes go out too the family.

I had the pleasure of meeting them both at the Tech Seminar and the Bash ,and Sunday morning breakfast at Ryan's...I hate this ,Greg was a wonderful guy ,and I'm so sorry for his beautiful wife's loss. Thoughts and prayers will be with you both! What a Sad Day!!

Charlie or whom ever when you find out the funeral arrangements please post them I would like to send some flowers.....

oh wow .......i dont know were to start ....... he was hands down a great guy,a great advocate to the sport and t the BBF family ---- we spent that evening together with his wife and had a great time ... he will be well remembered !!! please pass this along Charlie if there is anything we can do for the family please let me know ...

I just talked with Nicci on the phone and she is on her way to the funeral home now. As soon as they make and complete the funeral arrangements, I will post up the info. Of course I told her our prayers are with her.

Does anyone remember the entire evening before the Tech Seminar in the hotel bar 2 years ago in Evansville ...? I'm sure Seth does, LOL.
I prefer to remember him as the jovial, impish, jokester that he could be. This is TERRIBLE ... !

Yes, and Nicci was the prankster that wrote on Seth's bald head with the red lipstick. They were certainly a fun loving couple.

Thanks Charlie that reminds me I need to buy that woman a new tube of Lipstick...... they were one fun couple for sure.... Great people...
