know ford better than anybody else. Is the 300 i6 the same bellhousing pattern as the 351W? Pulled out the engine and tranny of the project truck and the guy helpin me needs a tranny. Thanks in advance.

yep,it's the same.not sure about the flywheel though.

Thank you. He has a 5 speed in it now but it gave up a little while ago. I'm giving him the tranny so he can get himself around till he can afford to get the other one fixed.

the 300 has a neutral balance flywheel... the 351w has a 28 oz imbalance
