The "Modern Day" Mustangs are at it again! Roy Hill remains low qualifier at Charlotte. Better than 1.2 seconds quicker than the SS/BA index and continues to improve.

Is Roy driving or does he have a hired gun in the car? Last time I talked with him, he had no license...lacking the medical deal. I'll look for him at Hooters in Concord on Monday. I think he picks up his mail there.

I was told he drove at Indy....must have got his medical clearance.

That would be good news. Maybe he just had to quit the ProMod stuff. I'll look for him early next week...Maybe he'll stay in town for a day or two after the race. That would give me a chance to pay him back for picking up my chow tab at Hooters. Yeah...We go there for the wonderful food.

Roy runs that car here at Piedmont Dragway.I've seen him in the low 5.50's with that car.He brings it to the Big Dog race and runs the Quick 32 bracket.and 5.60 index.

Roy Hill was driving at the Div3 points meet at Stanton Mi this year.

YES!!, the food at the Charlotte Hooters is the best one ive ate at. Plus it was finger-licken good. Just ask Smiley..
