This is Randy Moore's short block with my heads and rockers on it. It's the engine I ran at Fords At The Summit and won with. It ran 5.80's in the 1/8 and 9.20's in the 1/4 in my 2700 lb car. It has dome pistons,Kasse pump, canton pan ,roller cam and rockers. A429 heads ported by Charlie Evans ,motorsport rockers and Jomar stud girdle and a motorsport harmonic balancer. $5000 [img]466 Alum. CJ headed engine Hotrodreunion134[/img]

New Scat 4340 4.30 crank
new Scat 4340 H-beam rods 2-454-6800-2200
new Probe forged pistons 10663-030
new rings & bearings
all from Adney
also a new Boss block from Ford 8.200 deck height still in package
this block is a 302 windsor based, Ford calls it a Boss
Anything look interesting ?

That is some nice stuff you got there , but I am going to go at least 4.5 stroke on my next build , so I will have to pass thanks for the offer though. Dan might be interested not sure ?

Heli, this Randy's shortblock. I just borrowed it and put my top end on it. I know the cylinder walls look real good in it. It has Eagle SIR-I rods.A 720ish lift roller cam,my heads have less than a season on them since they were freshened with a valve job and new springs ,retainers and locks.

Its got about 150 -175 passes since it was freshened up. It ran 5.51 with my tfs street heads in my car 2365 lbs.

I think it would've went faster in my car with the right convertor, also my convertor flew all to pieces the next pass with my 557 in front of it?

You can deal with Dan its in his possession Very Happy . I don't have any recent pics.

The only thing I know that is wrong with the bottom end is there was a rod pitched in the block when Charlie owned it. The only damage was to the oil pan and broke an oil pan bolt off in the block rail . The bolt body is still in there has not been drilled out and the oil pan has been welded and repaired. Its ran fine that way.
