need help rear firewall fab. 94 mustang

Het guys I could use some help here. I removed the rear window today (in 1 million pieces) to access the rear shelf area. Car is tubbed (steal) and has a 10pt cage going to the trunk. I want to remove the shelf because its ugly and install my firewall. Im looking for suggestions or pics before I over engineer it like I do everything else. What I decide needs to look good because I will be doing the cruise thing and you can see all this area thru the rear window . Also since I have to buy another window, is there a lexan kit available to fit this car. thanks guys.
