The Double D Mafia motor is Jon's new P-51 Double D Mafia engine. The heads are "trick" and they are pictured over on the old site. Maybe this link will work. http://www.460ford.com/forum/showthread.php?t=148498

Kind of makes sense if you were to say "pack your bags, were going racing" if you had two.f250mike wrote:I hope your planning on packing that bag back there .

I was gonna ask what size your mom's were, but I'll retract that question as you got the SRV question right lol.

I would have them too if I was bracket racing with a car that has that much power. My S/S f100 with 10.5's probably wont pull the wheels. DARN!richter69 wrote:bb429power wrote:Wait, what does Stephen say wheelie bars are for again?

So to set a wheelie bar you have to weld, and re weld until you get it where it needs to be? That sucks!richter69 wrote:top bar is just tacked in.................gotta get the DD motor back in to get the height set.....................long stroke strut deal................9-10" should do.

No, he just wants the motor in so the car sits correctly. There is normally a ton of adjustment.

Question, I have my cross braces on the bottom as in Jon's picture, and I have seen some with the braces on the top bars. Which way is correct or the better way? With them on the top bars it gives more room for a floor jack to roll under, but would also interfer with the
fuel cell if it set low.
The second thing that comes to mind is what happened to KY Jellys car and a few other I have seen fold the bars over. Would'nt it make the top bars stronger if the bracing was on the top? When the car lauches most of the pressure is on the top bars, trying to compress them. If one of the upper bars start bowing out it then folds over like it did on Randy's. I would think that having the cross bars on the top ones would tie the top bars together and make them stonger and keep them from spreding. Looking at it another way, without them on the bottom, it could allow the bottom bars to walks to one side or the other when the is pressure on the wheels, and have them fold also. Opinions????
