Re: removeing stickers
I would peel it off then take wax and grease remover to it to get the glue off. That's my 2 cents, there might be a better method to get it OFF, maybe as you peel it off apply wax and grease remover to it to aid it.

Ward ,take a blow dryer and heat it up as you peel it or scrape it off .If scrapeing it ,use a plastic scraper. Then take some adhesive remover to it. You'll never get it to where it doesn't show in certain light, but you can make it decent looking. Good luck ,it ain't fun

What about the eraser wheels that body shops use to remove pinstrip's with? They seem to work like magic and don't scuff the paint.

Just get Dan to make you a sticker that says "sucks" and put underneath the Chevy sticker..................less work and states the truth.

X2....that is the best way I have found as well....Get it good and warm and take your time...peel the sticker at a perpendicular angle to the surface, this seems to not leave as much sticky behind. There is some stuff called "Sticker Shock" that can be had at most parts stores....it works well to take off the sticky residue that is left behind. WD-40 works fairly well too.56Tbird wrote:Ward ,take a blow dryer and heat it up as you peel it or scrape it off.

The best way is with a good hair drier or heat gun the white 3m rubber eraser will burn the paint on the trailer if you are not real careful. The paint on a cargo trailer is a baked on enamal paint the wheel will leave fine scarthes in it.The best way we have found is a heat gun as we don't have hair drier at work. I have used a hair drier here at the house and it worked great . But if you use a heat gun be careful not to get them to hot or you will have a big mess and the sticker becomes baked on.WD-40 is what we clean trailer with and it works great getting the left on glue off just spray it and let it set for a few mins and start whipping it off.

Hey Dan-o,
No way!
32 years ago...they did not have stickers yet! You were just a "wee lad" ,
hand painting...and removing the hand jobs with Easy-Off overn cleaner!
