Looking real good. How much kick up or ground clearance did you get your front frame rails for?

Thanks Tree,... Yes most everything my brother & I are doing ourselves, except for mounting the rack & building the steering, I will take it over to Brinks Racecraft for that.
I want the steering to be perfect so I'm gonna have them do it for me, will probly have them put a 4-link under it at that time as well.
I try to do all the little nit-picky stuff that is so time consuming so it does not cost a bunch in shop time...

richter, if you do, go ahead and do struts.... way more simple... & lighter... kinda wish i would have had the $$$$ to do it strut.....
If you do it with A-arms, make sure you have 24-26" minimum between the frame rails, it will make it easier for the 460 to fit.

Keith,
bottom of the Frame rail @ the firewall is 6" @ ride hight, so the kick up or mandrel bend up is listed @ 6" on these particular rails, Alston Chassis has several diff. rails to choose from, but if I had to do it over agin I would go strut deal, lot lighter and more room.

Goodies on the way...
Terry,
Keep an eye out for a fine Brown truck on Thursday. Motor plates...spacer kits...timing pointers...will arrive in a custom painted shipping container.
That will keep you busy!
Thanks!

Brakes and car are looking good. My brakes are like yours, but ,I need to rebuild my calipers this winter. I think they are not retracting because my wheels roll kinda hard.

You might want to post this in the Tech section....I've never seen a rotor retract? Maybe some of the A+ Know-it-alls can help you with that? Maybe they can turn your calipers for you while your at it...........bbf-falcon wrote:Brakes and car are looking good. My brakes are like yours, but ,I need to rebuild my rotors this winter.
