Sorry to hear about your loss. I read the following on a tombstone once and feel that the following epitaph is fitting-
"Weep not for her, for now she walks with one more divine!" Charlie, I know that you miss her but she is in a better place now.

Charlie so sorry too hear of your loss.....94 years young and never in a home that says something. She lived a full and healthy life.My family prayers are with you uncle Charlie.

Gentlemen,

My sincere thanks for your geniune expressions of sympathy. IMO Mom's funeral was the nicest that I have ever seen, and I know that it was just the way she would have wanted. She was a retired school teacher and a farmer and truly loved people for the content of their character, and it showed in her funeral. For example, her pallbearers were a wide range of men from her gardener to our former U.S. Senator from Kentucky. Her 67 year old lawyer said it was the most beautiful funeral he had ever seen, but yet very simple and touching.
I have much to be thankful for, one reason being she died with her boots on and did not have a long lingering illness. I know she would rather it be that way, because she was terrified of nursing homes.

Again I thank each and every one of you for your prayers and best wishes.

Dang it man!!! I haven't been on here much, and totally missed this until Rob (Schmitty) told me today. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family Charlie. If she was like you, then she was truly a great person.
