Oklahoma is a joke at #1, hell Cincinnati came close to beating them, and should have, I will be glad when they come to their senses, and put the right team at #1, BOISE STATE, should be there.

Ohio State or Bama would eat Boise States lunch any day of the week.

Thats what was said the last two years in the bowl games, seems they beat some pretty high ranked teams.

Re: BCS rankings
Boise is definately a top ten team, but I doubt they could handle the talent that those two teams have. I doubt my beloved Huskers would be able to beat Boise St. They do deserve respect none the less.

Re: BCS rankings
BCS is a bunch of BS. They dont want to give the small schools the credit of being power houses. I hope at the end of the year Boise St, Oregon, and TCU are to only undefeated teams.

Re: BCS rankings
yep..it don't matter who is on top, there will always be the argument that the wrong team is on top, if its not their team then its wrong, hey i don't have anything to do with it, but the best team is on top, and they know it,342g wrote:johndickjr wrote:could have..should have ..but didt342g wrote:Oklahoma is a joke at #1, hell Cincinnati came close to beating them, and should have, I will be glad when they come to their senses, and put the right team at #1, BOISE STATE, should be there.

No that's the idiots that do the bowl bit, the a.p., and the coaches poll has Oregon, on top, they are scared to put B.S.U., T.C.U. on top, afraid they will embarass the big schools, and Im not a fan of either one of them, just stating what is the truth, if I was to follow a college team, it would probably be Notre Dame, but I like pro ball.

Re: BCS rankings
hey i dont pick em, number one team is there for a reason, they look at stats, scores, team played ,,,teams to be played, last years stats..etc..just cause a smaller school is 6-0 don't mean crap, cause most of them play nobody's, they may get lucky a few times , its the same thing as when TULSA plays Oklahoma state and OU , Tulsa is pretty dam good , when they stay in their own league and conference but step out and they get killed, if OU gets beat then drop them as number 1 and move on, i really dont care for the BCS my self, i would love to see a college playoff but it is the way it is and OKLAHOMA SOONERS ARE NUMBER 1

I'm with Schmitty, it's still fairly early. I like Boise State, but I'm a Husker fan. Yeah I know, but hey, what'cha gonna do? Myself, I can't stomach to watch pro football anymore. No excitement, and wwaaaay too many rules anymore. What a joke!!! You can't even look crosseyed at a QB or you draw a flag. Plus, I'd bet a dollar to ten that there's a BIG majority of pro players that aren't in it for the game anymore. It's all about the paycheck anymore. The pro game is over paid, and under played...

so true, i personally know a kicker for a NFL team..not saying names, but he kicks for the team sam bradford is on...he went to school 5 miles down the road, he even played the piano at my cousin funeral, anyway he straight up said they he don't care if they win or not,as long as the paycheck s keep coming, but he does have a killer shelby gt500, i seen he put it in the ditch last year
