Any good tuners for the Ford V10

Got a buddy with one in an 01 F350 and he is wondering if there is a tuner that would help mileage and towing power.

I doubt it... Everyone I know that has had one has never been able get any type of mileage above 6-8 mpg around here with a light load, and 10 on a very good day empty.

Your air is too thin up there. My uncle from Billings had an Excursion with a V10 and that was about as good as he did too. Mom"s 01 with a V10 was a regular 14-15mpg here in the low country.

Going to the '09 Bash I used a 2004 Excursion to tow my car, with 3 adults and 2 children and a full load of luggage and we averaged 11 mpg both ways from Savannah to Owensboro. It was a stock V10 with no special tune, I wish I had one.
