Tested a 950 hp to my 750 barry grant last weekend.

They ran identical E.T and mph. Glad to try another proven carb and know i have a great carb. Thought i just let ya all know.

I'd say you have very good carb.

Carbs are like people ... even though they may have identicle parts there isn't two exactly the same.
When you get a really good carb ... hang on to it.

you tried a 1050 dominator yet?

I would love to try one , Just havnt found anyone that has one for me to borrow. If i was running 1/4 i for sure would have one. I still got alot of things to try first.

My car ran the same mph and et with a 750 HP and a 950 HP. I have a bottleneck somewhere else, and I have a pretty good idea where it is.

Just talked to a good friend today that had a 557 in a light car.Took 5 carbs to the track w/him.750 vac. sec.,950hp,1050 and 1150 Dommy.The 950 and 1050 had the worst et's. The 750 and the 1150 ran identicle ET's,but the 1150 had a better mph. These were at a 1/8th mile track so,the 1150 would have ET'd better in the 1/4.
