catalitic converters
I need some old catalitic converters that I can clean out and stick a pipe into. I want to stick a 3" pipe through it. Putting them on a fox mustang so they need to be as small as possible.

The old Lincons had straight though ones. they on there just for looks. get ya some.

I bet a crafty guy could make a buck manufacturing and selling fake converters for street driven race cars. Till the feds got him......

Aaaa I have know a few people to take the shields off and put them around the straight pipe to resemble a converter.

That don't work in N. Ohio. They do a sniff test and if u don't pass you don't get tags.

If your on E85 you'll pass any time. They burn way cleaner than Gas does if tuned right.My kid has an STI putting out 480hp to the (4) wheels around here.

I always took and cut the top side out gutted them welded it back up and welded them back on

Just today some kid in auto took a long rod, put it in an air hammer, and went at it. I thought it would be easier to pull the one side up, man that was getting on my nerves. Was making way to much noise for way too long.

yea sniff test in here in Houston also. I just gut them and put mil eliminators in and as long as there is no check engine light good to go. Only on ob2 though. so 94 and down have the sniff test
